I disolved 1 pkg of sugar free jello(raspberry) in 1/2 cup hot water , then I took my trusty blender stick and blenderized 1 1/2 cups of kefir, then when the jello got coolenough so it wouldn't hurt the little probots I blenderized the 2 together and let it set.. put some whipped cream on top and it was quite yummy...needs some tweakin but I kinda like it,its sorta like "firm" swiss style yogert

Wow, pretty fancy for your first time out, Jackie! I just stir a little vanilla and Splenda into mine most days and some ground flax seed.

I count 4 carbs per cup of kefir. And you'll need to add any carbs for stuff you mix in of course.

Wow Jackie, I'm impressed. I drink my kefir straight. But maybe I could even sneak some kefir made that way by my DH as a dessert. Thanks for the idea.

What a great idea!!!!! Yes, that's what I've been told, 4 carbs per 1 cup, as long as it's fermented a whole 24 hours and there are no more milk sugars left. YUMMY!!!!!
