UGH! This weather is just awful. We've had one snowstorm after the next and it's so hard not to slip into eating "comfort foods" with this long, hard winter we're in. I've been struggling these last few days to stay on track. I slipped a little since Sunday, however I have gone to the gym every day and drank lots of water to compensate. Hopefully that darned Groundhog will predict a quick thaw and early spring. Anyone else get these "winter blues" and cravings with this weather?

Yes I have at times..I have been walking on my treadmill everyday from 30 min to 60 for several months now.. about two weeks ago , when the weather just kept getting worse and the house feels so cold , I quit working out and I can't seem to get started again... I am afraid with that and wanting a little extra comfort food , I will gain .. Here's hoping not ...
Please some warm weather......

I think that when the weather is soooo cold, And its to cold to go outside for anything. My dog doesn't even want to go out to pee . Its easy to fall back into the old habits. Like the bear, I think our bodies want to pack it on for survival of the season.
Well it sounds good to me!!LOL
Hang in there, I keep telling myself, It HAS to get warmer.

Unfortunately I just blew it big time at our Superbowl work party....had chips and dips. UGH! I started with a mini-cheat on Sunday and it's all gone downhill from here. I think tomorrow through the weekend I need to go back to induction levels to get back on track and into Ketosis to break the nasty cravings i'm having.

Yes I sure have. Been stuck inside a lot this week because of snow and ice. I probably ate a pound and a half of cheese since Sunday and by this morning I was up 2 1/2 pounds from my sunday weigh-in. I didn't cheat with anything high carb just too much food. Didn't help that I couldn't go for my walks until today.
