I just went to my local market (PW in Foster City, CA) to get water and noticed their fish and meat freezers were empty except for one which read

"All Meat 50% - 75% off"

OMG, I went over and pillaged it, so much so that the girl who works at the Chinese Food Restaurant next door and was stacking up on the fish and other stuff, gave me the evil eye, because I walked out with 5 roasts for 12 bux ! Plus a wonderful skirt steak and some cod and salmon fillets. I think I paid like $40 at the checkout for 3 bags of meat.

Oh what a wonderful Friday .. Totally unexpected. I usually read the meat sales in the supermarket flyers and make a list of where to shop. This was heaven !

I did pretty much the same at a local store the other day. It is very sad that they are going out of business, though they have a new owner and will only be closed a month... They had all their meats and veggies for 50% off. I got about $200 worth of stuff for 1/2 that
