I eat fruit, in small amounts, at almost any time of the day, except for last thing after dinner, and, like you, I always have some with something to slow down the absorptiton.

I put them in my reconstituted yogurt(from yogurt cheese)first thing in the morning. I do about 3 or 4 strawberries (60-100grams) or about 50 grams of raspberries.
They taste so good in the morning.
