| If you have a Trader Joes anywhere nearby, that is the best place to get it -- cheapest, best quality. Otherwise, go to your local healthfood store. Ask for a product that is "soy protein isolate" NOT "soy protein powder." Isolate is 90% protein by weight, the other is less. I know it is confusing -- in fact, I didn't know the difference until the testing process on my 3rd cookbook was underway ![]() Now, the Trader Joes soy protein isolate, is actually labelled soy protein powder. How is that for confusing. Here's the clincher: It should only have like 2 grams of carbs per serving. That is how you'll know if you got the right stuff Blessings! | Sharron, is that Trader Joe stuff safe? I was afraid to buy it. The list of ingredients was very long, and I think it included milk. Or maybe I was looking at the wrong product? ************** "Sometimes I think you have to march right in and demand your rights, even if you don't know what your rights are, or who the person is you're talking to.
