heres some from someone in the same boat. But I am exercising more than ever before, including Curves. Looking better, losing inches, just not seeing it on the scale yet. It will happen. Just leveling off.

Amy,

You've had a couple of adventures in off plan eating since you started about 5 weeks ago: lc bars, weekend "cheats", etc.

In spite of this, you are down 14 lbs and you're wearing pants that you haven't worn since before your pregnancy. In spite of this, you are doing much, much better than I did during my first 5 weeks of "100% by the book" eating.

Here's a big virtual {{{hug}}} for you, and two thoughts for the day: 1. you're doing better than most people at this point and 2. this is not a race - it's a change in lifestyle that, over time, will help you normalize your weight and maintain it for life.

You are doing the right things. When I was not losing last year I would go back and see how much I had lost so far. Well, 14 lbs in one month is just WONDERFUL. Another thing is how about adding measuring to your weekly weigh in. Sometimes the body is switching from fat to muscle. So guess what, you don't lose lbs you lose inches. I do both that way on bad weigh in weeks I can at least see something change.

I do both, weigh and measure, when the scale isn't moving, I always measure. There are so many variables with weight, measurements are a good indicator.

I know the feeling. When I started back in September, I was loosing really fast. I actually lost 5 pounds a week almost every week up till December. Now my loss has slowed to about 5 pounds a month. I am not even sure if my case is a stall, or what.

Anyway, I am not worried about how fast I loose. I am happy with the plan and enjoying this woe. I know I will loose it all in the end.

Amy, I feel your pain believe me and here is a hug for you ((((Amy))))! I have been stuck for 3 weeks now so I am going to change something (I think up my exercise) to try to shake things up a litte. We just have to remember the alternative (regaining) and just know we have to stick with it. It will happen for both of us in time. Patience (SP) is a virtue, I have such a hard time with that one! Anita
I just broke it this morning. I'm not sure what was different; I haven't had as much diet coke and I have been substituting any sweet cravings with Chai tea.....hmmm, maybe it was the tea.

Hang in there sister! Then you'll hop on the scale and try not to wake up the house by yelling like I did this morning!!
