SO.. all you newbies.. when you do exercise.. try to keep THAT in mind when you think that you have been being faithful and yet dont lose or even GAIN weight... *sigh*.. the scale doesnt tell the whole story.. the wonderful people on this site have said it again and again.. consider how you FEEL now.. consider how your clothes FIT now.. then.. think about what the scale says... i have a pair of jeans.. each time i put on those jeans i know EXACTLY what the LC woe does or does not do.. i dont have a scale.. i DO get weighed at doctor office every three months for prescriptions.. but even THEN i had them tell me what i lost from the last time.. but NOT what i weighed.. they think i am nuts.. who cares.. i KNOW what happens when i worry about numbers.. good means eat & cheat.. bad means BINGE!! *L* because i felt like crap about a siLLY # that might change in five minutes when i A) DRINK a glass of water or B) when i make a trip to the powderroom *iycmd*

Scales are for fish! LOL...

I weigh on the first and fifteenth of each month...probably more than some folks...but I have kept a little running tab to see how much I average losing. But I am not controlled by the scale.

I too can tell by the feel of my clothes how things are going and they are going well as far as I'm concerned. I love this WOE mainly because I no longer have sugar cravings! There are tons of other reasons..but that's for another day.

Stick with the basics and don't let the silly scale control you...that's my 2 sense!

Thanks for the good reminder...it's so true, but so easy to forget. I've been low carbing seriously since September and lost about ten pounds SLOWLY and have kept them off (which I also forget is a success!) but since entering Induction again in Janurary, I've posted very little weight loss. But I've been working out 4-6 days a week, weights and cardio, so there's more muscle for sure. Plus, I feel better and my clothes fit much better...I'm still waiting for the scale to show some results, but it's always good to remember that RESULTS = many different things!
