Our wonderful BC has suggested that it's time for some "success stories". And I agree!

I am humbly asking all you vets at or near goal if you wouldn't consider sending me via email -webmaster@lowcarbeating.com - a little story and a before and now/after picture to inspire the crew.

and anyone else who has made lots of progress, even if they are not near goal yet, is invited to do this too.

I think that given the current climate, now would be a very good time to SHOW folks how well this WOE works.

Don't you?

Please look in your heart and consider it. If you want, I'll help you with the written stuff.

Andrea

Thank you, Travellost, for being the first to step up to the plate....

Vets, please, please consider this. I know all the reasons you can give for demurring, believe me:

Who, little ole me? (I'm shyer than any of you; if I can do it, you can.)

I don't want people to see how fat I was. (The bigger you were, the better the victory).

What if it jinxes me. (what??)

I can't write. (we'll help)

What if I regain! (You won't! You gotta believe in yourself sometime!)

Think of what it will mean to the newbies just peeking in the door, hoping against hope to find something that works.......didn't you want to see success stories, too?

C'mon you guys. You know who you are.

You wouldn't believe the amount of e-mail I've received as a result of posting my before and now pictures on this site.

People from all over the world (literally) have written to me without expectations of a response. They simply state how inspired they are by my story and pictures. Many, if not all, have stated that they happened upon this site and the success stories and pictures while deliberating about whether the low carb way of life would, indeed, help them achieve success in weight loss. Some have said that they had already decided to give up, but instead had recommitted to this way of life simply because of the inspirational people who have chosen to share their success.

People -- we are here for each other. Please, if you've got pictures and a story, share. Even if you get no response, the process of posting it somehow buoys you into internal recommitment.

Never underestimate the impact you have upon another. We could post here on these boards until we're bleary-eyed, but a picture with a personal accounting are worth a thousand words.

I just wanted to let all of you who are thinking about this know what it means to someone starting this woe. The first thing I did when I came to this website was look at the success stories. It got me excited about this woe. It is very inspirational for newbies. I remember thinking how much I wanted to be a success story someday.
I really think this site could use some more success stories to get people excited!

You did great! Share it!!!

Good luck all!!
