I got home from work yesterday and there was a box of Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies on the counter with a note from my brother that said "Amy, Cheat" and a smiley face.

I looked at the box all night, moved it around, avoided it....and then gave them back to my brother.

If I ate ONE, I'd eat them all......

I think I would have hit him.

Girl Scouts Thin Mints are one of my favorites. You showed sheer determination. Kudos to you.

It was so hard. I kept eyeballing them...that familiar green box, the smell of mint.

Exhale.

How Rude!! That is like putting haroin down on the counter, and telling a recovering addict to "Cheat"

Good job Amy!! I don't know that I could have done it...

Wow, you did great avoiding those things! I don't know if I could have done the same because I've been addicted to Thin Mints since I was a Brownie peddling them (or would "pushing" be the better word?) Oh yeah, the smell would have done me in.

Amy - I would have killed him. Good job resisting both the temptation top eat the cookies and commit homicide. Too bad you couldn't have figured a way to make them stay with him forever (like stick them in the glove box of the car so that they wopuld have released the gooey chocolate smell forever once they melted!).

Good for you!

I think it's time for you to quit using "Amy" and "cheat" in the same sentences.

Amy...
I think I would have left him a note: "{insert his name here}, bite me!"

I would have carefully opened the box, put the cookies in a blender and ground them to a pulp. Then, I would have carefully put the pulp back inthe little plastic holder, sealed it back up so it looked unopened, and returned them to your brother with a smile.
