I had lost 25lbs on Atkins last year in four months and then stoped loosing for a few months, got frustrated and went back to some carbs and gained 5-7 lbs. Anyway, after seven weeks back on track i reached my previously obtained goal of 155 and as of this morning 154lb. I would be really happy except that this morning i went to put on a skirt that i used all last summer at 155 and it fits really tight, not nice and loose the way it fit last summer. Why is this happening if i'm even a pound lighter than last summer? It's doesn't contain any stretch material so it didn't shrink. Could it be that my second time around i lost differently? It seems that this time i lost the weight but not inches. Which reminds me that my sister n law told me this weekend that i'm almost at the same weight i was last summer. I screamed to her that i WAS ALREADY THERE, and she said that in the summer i did look a bit leaner.

Well after i thought and thought about it, there could only be one reasonable explanation, last year when i lost the weight i hired a personal trainer for two weeks who taught me how to weight train and i did that for about 6 weeks. This time around, i just started working out two weeks ago and really i've only gone four times. Any thoughts? Similar experiences?

If you WERE exercising then and are NOT now - that will definitely explain the difference. Muscle weighs more than fat yet takes up less room, and when you firm up, even at the same or greater weight you LOOK as if you weigh less because you're actually smaller!!

Which I know in my head but boy it's hard to get my BUTT moving sometimes...LOL!

Don't hurt yourself! If you haven't been in the gym lately, don't forget that you can't just pick up where you left off. Start slowly and as if you are a beginner. You will "catch up" relatively quickly, to your past weight lifting levels, but if you try to start where you left off, you may end up injuring yourself. Talk about frustration...
