Get rid of them.
Put them out in the car, or get someone to hide them, or put them in the freezer, or give them away, but get rid of them!!

I have no willpower today... I just caved in and ate some This Mints. I gave the rest away. Now I get to feel like crap all day.

It will take me forever to get back into Ketosis... Grrrrr! My own damn fault. Shame on me.

Wolfman,

That happens to me ALL the time. I think I'm crazy. But for me, I'm always eating TV dinners enjoying the corn mixed in with the mashed potatoes. Its like I totally forget I cant have it then BAM...I'm like, "Oh my God, I just ruined everything!!!" But then I realize its a dream, but it still freaks me out!!

So no, you arent the only one!!

I too couldn't resist some of the valentines candies that were laying around my house. I specifically asked not to get any but my wife and kids bought for each other, Needless to say I am the only one to touch them. I gave them strict orders to get them out of my sight. Shame on me. Getting back into Ketosis will take days.

Too bad I have those dreams all the time!! Usually cake, lots of cake, and cookies, usually oreo or white chocolate macadamia nut. Lots of icing, I'm a cake icing freak. So don't worry! mmmmmmmmmmcake....

so are there any dream experts out there? why do we do this?? just b/c we're so disciplined during the day, and then "letting go" at nite??
or maybe it's just b/c we think about carbs so much during the day (counting, etc) ... ?
very interesting though!

Thanks everybody for the replies. I guess I'm semi-normal

I do believe its because we (some of us) obsess most of the day (I know I do) on carbs. So our mind likes to let lose or something while we dream.

Oh well... Some company will come out with a product for "Low Carb Dreams..."

Ron, LOLOLOL

I just do NOT remember my nighttime dreams. I do remember some of my afternoon nap dreams, however, but I don't seem to remember having food dreams. Maybe I'M the weird one here.

Know what I dream about?

Wearing shorts this summer.

All that other stuff? That made me sick and heavy, and that's no dream, that's a nightmare.

Who needs it?

i dreamt that i ate 11 bagels!! that's right ... eleven of them! and they weren't even the LC kind.
for some reason, in the dream i was trying to "get off of atkins" !!! yikes, don't know WHY i was doing that!
i remember there were a dozen bagels, and i couldn't eat the last one ... too full i guess!? LOL oh dear, how scary!
