Thread: Atkins Carb Controlled Yogurt

Hi! I found Atkins Carb Controlled yogurt at Sam's Club today. I have tried the Dannon, but had never seen Atkins before. They also had a new ice cream. 3 net carbs in each. The yogurt is in strawberry and peach flavor and comes packaged 6 of each flavor. 12 yogurts for $7.88. Has anyone tried it yet? Also it was in the frozen food area.

I've tried the Atkins CC yogurt, as well as Dannon. I'm not sure which brand I like best. Dannon is definitely thinner, while Atkins/Hood is thicker and creamier, and the peach flavor actually has decent-sized chunks. I tend to like the thicker/creamier, and taste-wise, I think that Atkins has come a bit closer. However, you might find that the Atkins brand has a bit of a chalky taste to it. I can't describe it. You can't go wrong with either, though, unless one of the things I mentioned above is a big factor for you. I think you'll like it. It'll definitely hit the spot in a pinch.

Thanks for the info. It is like hitting the Jackpot to find more low carb items in local stores. I am so glad more companies are joining in providing us the variety.
