"Ongoing Weight Loss" at Low Carb Diet Support: "Can we change Cinnamon and Sugar on toast to Cinnamon and Splenda on toast? Iw as almost afraid to try it, but I did and for a treat on my 3g per slice of bread ...."

Can we change Cinnamon and Sugar on toast to Cinnamon and Splenda on toast? Iw as almost afraid to try it, but I did and for a treat on my 3g per slice of bread it was really tasty! I know--bad, bad, bad huskersfan, but I am experimenting. . .not good for the struggles of this past week, but I will get back on track now that I go back to work tomorrow and TOM has arrived so munchies willb e better!!!! So will moodiness and grouchies!

Sometimes nothing but a piece of "cinnamon toast" will do.

Much better this than some other "treats" I can think of!

Sounds yummy. As far as treats goes, that is not a bad thing. Will probably give it a try too sometime. Thanks for the idea.

I've been using cinnamon and Splenda together since I started my WW journey - which, as I think of it, started 3 years ago TODAY! - and when I got to the point in Atkins where I could entertain thoughts of low-carb bread products, I continue to use it. It's a good mixture.

It's also good to sprinkle on top of LC muffins before baking. Makes a nice streusel-type, kinda, topping!

I mix cinnamon and splenda together with butter and mix in a bowl of plain pork rinds, YUM !
