HELP NEEDED! NEVER HAD YOGURT BEFORE...

"Ongoing Weight Loss" at Low Carb Diet Support: "I just tried the control carb dannon yogurt cups... can i FREEZE this stuff to taste more of the texture of frozen yogurt in the shops? I dont really like the creamy texture...:-( NEW BLOOD! ...."

I just tried the control carb dannon yogurt cups... can i FREEZE this stuff to taste more of the texture of frozen yogurt in the shops? I dont really like the creamy texture...:-(

i might add... i have never had the frozen yogurt either..*L*... i know.. i know.. i sound like i am from another planet here..*grin*

probably could freeze it--try one and see how it is tomorrow--frozen yogurt is more like a creamy ice cream than yogurt per se. I like the texture of the dannon yogurt--reminds me of almost done pudding which is when I LOVE pudding the most!!! I like the raspberry ones,haven't had the strawberry ones yet and have the peach ones lined up next in line for taste testing.

i bought the raspberry ones... and the vanilla which i just tried... i added chocolate whipped cream and stirred it up.. was similar to chocolate pudding... but for the summer..(wish wish wish) i thought it might be a nice frozen treat...

i stuck one in freezer for over an hr.. gave it some icey crystals threw but wasnt solid..
if you had an ice cream maker you could throw a few containers in their then refreeze in difrent container.. or you could reportion to other yougurt containers that have lids...
there are alos yougurt recpies here... i think .. or someone could get you one.. to make lc yougurt at home..

thanks.. i appreciate the info... wont be making any at home though.. first.. i dont especially like it... second.. i only bought them for the quick fix..*L*... something to stick in the tiny fridge at my shoppe... usually i have salmon in a bag.. over baby spinich in a bag.*L*...(sitting next to bottled water... strawberries... and ham in a package..) can ya TELL i am not into preparation?? *grin*..
