In Barb's stall breaking thread I mentioned that I thought the reason for my stall was due to my arthritis medications. I have been weighing between 226-231 since the beginning of November. It looked like I would be losing then I would gain it right back. I stopped all the "junk" food and tried stopping different LC treats. I had thought I was finally off of it last week went I went back down to 226, but over the weekend I hurt my back and started taking double dosages and next I knew I was back up to 230 in no time. I only take the meds when needed and I thought this weight gain because of the arthritis meds happened a few weeks ago. Then Rainbow also posted that it may be causing her to gain as well. I stopped the meds on Monday and I am back down to 228. I was taking Nalfon (feneprofen). I am thinking about trying Glucosamine/Chondoitin (?) again. I remember some were saying it bother stomachs, but does it cause issues with weight loss/gain?

Well,

I went to my Doctor today to get my back X-rayed and we spoke about the medicine and Atkins. He doesn't believe it would have any effect and thinks its either coincidence or temp water gain. He told me to get back on it.

In "Atkins for Life", Dr Atkins states that many medications, including ones for arthritis can slow or stop weight loss. I take Celebrex for my arthritis. I have to be very strict with my eating to lose any weight.
