Sheeeeeeesh, after almost 4 months, the scale finally has moved. I went to Curves 5 times last week, so that may have done it. I think I will shoot for that or at least 4 days again next week. As soon as the weather warms up here, I am digging my bike out. I plan to ride my bike TO Curves and anywhere else that isn't too far away. I will also go down our lovely bike paths here. I think the key has been more exercise for me. (AND more water!!!) I think my body may be coming out of its hybernation funk.

I have gone from wavering between 146 and 144 for the last 4 months. I finally saw what 143 (.6) looks like on the scale. It's very encouraging to see that. Gosh, if I can maintain this weight for a bit, I could see the 130's soon. That would be so cool.

That's great! Congratulations. I am ready for some warmer weather too. Nothing helps more than getting the exercise and water in. You are doing great!!

Congrats!

I am hoping the same thing will happen to me soon too. I have been between 226 and 231 since mid November. I think it may have been my arthritis medicine.

Keep on losing!

Oh.....(wistful sigh), I vaguely remember the 130s. Although it's not my goal to see them again, it seems like a very real possibility for you. I'm VERY happy for you. You've been such a great source of support for me and others on the boards and are so committed....YOU DESERVE IT. Congrats!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! yesterday when no one was looking in the changing room at the pool, I had the shock of my life, I seemed to have gained 6 lbs. I almost fainted then I remembered that I was naked and I quickly grabbed my towel and flewinto the changing room in total disgrace. How can that be? I have been drinking my water, eating my vegetables, not eating the bars, then I remember that I have increased my arthritis meds and two weeks ago I had to go for a six day prednisone protocol. So back on track without beating myself and promessing to do my Tai Chi every day and swim at least 3 x week. Like you Barbara, I need to move my body in order to move the needle on the scale.
you are on inspiration!I love your postings

Thanks everyone!!! Pats on the back sure do feel good!!!!

Biddy, where in Ohio are you? There's a bunch of people from Ohio planning get-togethers and we are also planning a HUGE get-together in INDY maybe sometime in Late May or Early June. There's a thread about it in the "everything else" forum. Check it out. Let me know if you want me to add you to the list, we will be private topicing about it sometime next week!!!! The more the merrier!!!!
