My personal favorites are the Atkins brand. I know, a little pricey. I prefer the Vanilla, but the Chocolate Delight is not bad. The other flavors pretty much gag me. Walmart has been having them on special lately at 4 pack for $6.88.

I drink one for breakfast on work days when there is no time between getting myself and my son out the door and now I have to make an extra detour to drop my DH at the train station.

I too prefer the Atkins though they are more expensive. There are two chocolate flavors--one has 2 carbs, the other 1. I prefer vanilla.
I just try not to rely on them too much--the real food is better for us!

My personal fav is the Atkins Chocolate Royale. The other chocolate one is called "delight" but I don't like it as well because it's more watery tasting. The Royale is thicker and richer in chocolate flavor.

I always keep 2-3 in my frig at work for emergencies of chocolate cravings. I generally only have one 1-2 times per week. I don't make a habit of it just as needed.

wow that is a great price, I've only seen the 4 pack for 10.99 although I havent had to drink one yet, I keep them for when I cant cook or need to go out without eating.

My bf has tried the Atkins shakes and said they taste really good too !

I myself like the new Weight Watchers lo-carb shakes the best. Chocolate is great really cold (and if you accidentally freeze it - cut off the top and eat it like soft serve - mmm mmm good!), tho my DD loves the Vanilla. At Wal-Mart they are less than $5.00 per 4-pack, which I think is a good deal. Try em!

Another vote for Atkins - I like Chocolate Royale and the Cappuccino. Both are really tasty either ice cold, or poured into a mug and nuked til hot. I add a sprinkle of cinnamon to the Cappuccino one when I heat it. Quick, good, filling, even if not exactly cheap....

I use the Atkins too, but try not to use them too often. If you have a Sam's Club you can get a case of 12 or a little over $18. Not a bad deal.

I drink EAS Advant Edge carb control drink. It only has 1g net carbs (2 fiber, 2 "other") and only around $5 for 4 "cans" (realy more like a juice box, but 11 oz.)
I find that the chocolate fudge really puts an end to my need (psychological-not really a craving) for something sweet.
They are great for staff meetings when every one else is eating a candybar and I get sweets envy.

Atkins and Advant Edge are both good. I found some good deals for them at wall mart. You can get the Advant Edge for about $5.

I like Atkin's brand. I like both chocolates and vanilla. I only like the strawberry once in a while. I have never tried the cappichino yet. Actually, I have never seen them. I only have one once or twice a week.

My favorite is the Atkin's strawberry, then their vanilla. To me, the chocolate is ok but I'd like it better if it was sweeter like the other two.

Anyone else make their own from a LC whey protein powder? I have been using Designer Whey Protein Powder with some heavy whipping cream, sometimes some cottage cheese and some ice, a couple packs of Splenda. I like them better than the canned ones. They do have a few more carbs, but I don't do them often either.

Since last fall I have kept a 4-pack of Atkins shakes in each of our vehicles. They have saved me many times. You never know when you are going to be stuck doing errands longer than expected and really need to "eat" something. I prefer the chocolates. I don't know what I'll do when summer arrives. Can't imagine it's good to leave the cans in the car.
