| I need some clarification, please. I know that after induction you can add 5 grams of carbs every week. The book even gives you an order they should be introduced. Do you introduce 1 new group a week or can you introduce, let's say more veggies one day, fresh cheeses the next and then seeds and nuts on the third and so on. I will rely appreciate any help thank. By the way I finish induction tomorrow. 177/167/135 |

| You don't necessarily have to add them in one item at a time. One day the 5 carbs can come from strawberries, the next from a combo of additional veggies or nuts. remember to limit cheese to 4 ounces or less a day. Rob 310/228.5/180 Me, a skeptic? I trust you have proof. |

| I plan on staying away from convenience foods. What I am nervous about if the low carb sauses I've found. I've found low carb alfredo sause and spaghettie sause. I plan to add both to spaghettie squash. On induction my carbs mainly came from induction, with the exception of mayo and salad dressing used conservatively. 177/167/135 |

| sauces can cause stalls if you eat too much of it. (well, eating too much of anything can cause a stall) But if its tomato based, non-LC sauce then YES, becareful. Tomatoes are high-glycemic index fruits so therefore they have more carbs than other veggies/fruit. I ate some alfredo sauce which was alright. It had about 3carbs/serving I believe. But I wouldnt go overboard with any of them and watch the sugar count!! | Don't worry about it--try them--if they cause you a problem don't trya them again for a while then reintroduce them again. I have had spaghetti sauce several times without issue. I eat spaghetti squash about once a week with the sauces. This is your bodya nd your diet/WOE and you have to make that call for yourself--if you thing having spaghetti in any way will cause you problems it might be best to wait, otherwise eat it jsut be sure to count the carbs. I don't ever eat the same food all week, would get tired of it and probably swerar it off for weeks at a time.
