| Franfrog, Sorry I'm just now seeing this! I live in the area and there is a Whole Foods Market (HUGE health food store) in the Garden District. Also, MANY of the restaurants here are used to people following this woe (way of eating) and are happy to accommodate. There are TONS of choices and ALL the restaurants are good here. ![]() HTH,

| Well, they JUST opened the store about a year ago (I think); It's pretty new, so maybe it hasn't made the online yellow pages yet. New Orleans is a large and VERY metropolitan city. You should be able to find anything you want/need there. I wouldn't worry about it. ;0) Heck, I live in Baton Rouge (MUCH smaller) and I have NO trouble finding LC stuff. Even the local groceries (Albertson's and Winn Dixie) carry tons of low-carb products. And of course there are Targets and Wal-Marts everywhere. Your family and friends should be able to help you locate what you need. Good luck and enjoy your trip to "The Big Easy!" (By the way, nobody that actually lives here, calls it that.)
