what am i doing wrong?

I dont know whats going on. Im at 30g a week now, i should be fine with what I am eating.

My menu today:
Breakfast: 2 eggs fried, 2 pieces bacon, piece of LC Toast and 1/2 cup cottage cheese, coffee
Lunch: steamed cabbage and LC tomato sauce
Dinner: pot roast with onions, cabbage and mushroom.
Snacks: peanuts (today i went a little over on these, i was depressed from the apparent problem im having) and one LC Bar (this was my first one EVER today, coffee

Heres my problem: I seem to have gained weight. The scale has me at 158, but i was 152 last week. Im not near my period, in fact the TOM came a week and a half ago.
Im so confused! i have been doing it right for a week and a half on 30 g in ketosis but for the last two days i have registered nothing on my strips. Nada. Zip. Also, i have been drinking my water, about 80 oz.

What's new that you added? Is there a lot of salt in the cottage cheese?

Unlikely, but there *is* a lot of salt in the other things you are eating...

You are not eating any protein for lunch?? That would not contribute to this problem, but it's something I noticed. You might not *overdue* it on the peanuts if you have some protein at lunch...

Personally, I would try ditching the low-carb bread/toast and see if that is the culprit.
I have been reading a LOT about this -- am currently reading Dr. Mercola's The No-Grain Diet book. I hate to admit it, but it makes a LOT of sense.
And *some of us* just can't lose when we eat bread -- even the "low-carb" variety.
Some of us just don't do well on grains...

You say "about 80 oz." of water... you're not going below that are you? With the bacon and eggs and peanuts, if you are even *MILDLY* dehydrated, the low water intake will cause you to retain fluid.

These are just some thoughts to consider.

I wouldn't stress over this too much unless the weight stays on for more than a week or so... for whatever reason, we women have to deal with these *mysterious gains* from time to time. It's frustrating as heck, but more often than not, it's temporary.
