It's a protein bar called slimwhey, made mainly with whey protein and isolate? The website for exact info is www.slimwhey.com I have always been able to use the bars in moderation and not stall, maybe because i don't have more than two or three a week. Usually the only ones i buy are the Atkins advantage bars because they have tons of fiber, my favorite one, the peanut butter has 10grm of fiber. However, they are high in calories (240) and often this is the main reason why i am skeptical of eating them since i like to have one when i have a very light lunch like a soup or a salad. Anyway this new product only has 120 calories and the taste is amazing, for those of you who are allowed the occassional bar, i highly recommed them. I had the peanut butter with 11gms of sugar alcohol and 2grm net carbs.

The other thing is that if i do have a bar, it's usually before 3pm so that i have a chance to burn it off by bedtime, i don't use these as a late night snack.

Restarted 1/2/04, this time i will finish what i started.

Just keep in mind that it has both glycerine and maltitol.

What is maltitol? Is that like a sugar alcohol? Sorry, just don't know what it is.
