Hi,
Though I do not feel like I am exhausted all the time, I am still yawning constantly throughout the day.

I have upped my water to more than half my weight in water and have started to eat some berries and nuts and still am having a problem with being tired/lack of energy.

I have been taking One A Day Energy formula and I find my first bathroom breaks to have green in the urine(sorry)...and I guess that means I am not metabolizing the vitamins.

I have read on here that B Complex is good...so I guess I will go find some of that too.

I have stalled and have not lost anything in two weeks, but then last week was my TOM.

HELP....I don't know what to do and have so many factors contributing.

I am not quitting because I like the results I have had, and I am not really missing foods having cravings etc.

Thanks for any help, thoughts, ideas......

Kristin

Kristin, are you eating frequently enough to keep your blood sugar from dropping too low?

Here is my general menu:

Breakfast at about 8:30am: either a low carb SlimFast/Atkins shake or eggs and sausage.

Lunch: noon Large chef salad with cheese, grilled chicken and ranch dressing.

Dinner: 6pm protein source, another salad, some veggies, diet rite

Snack: 8:30-9pm: strawberries, walnuts and whipped cream.

I do not snack between meal usually. Sometimes I will have a cheesestick or a LC yogurt.

I drink 3 33oz bottles of water during my work day and then a 12oz water for early morning and another 12oz water before dinner at 6pm-ish.

Kristin,

Are you sure you're eating enough in general? Depending on quantities, your menu could be quite low in calories, and if it's too low, that could account for both the lack of weight loss and the lack of energy.

Try running a few typical days of your menu through fitday.com and see what you come up with. Although we generally don't have to be too concerned with calories, getting enough for your body to function smoothly is essential.

As for the yawning, there are several different theories about the cause, but most of them involve shallow breathing. Lots of times getting up and moving or simply taking a few deep breaths and exhaling completely can "reset" things.

Best wishes,

BTW Kristin...When you start B Complex.....you can expect the green to change to a lovely shade of yellow first thing in the morning!!!!!
