| Am I the only one who cant find a decent tasting lc syrup. I bought the Atkins brand syrup and it was like water with carmel coloring and splenda. Didn't taste like syrup to me.............any suggestions on where to find a good one? |

| EC It does seem to need thickening. Have you tried a tiny bit of xanthum gum maybe while heating the syrup? I haven't either but you never know. Worst that can happen is you'll turn something you didn't like into something you hate. I rarely have pancakes but when I do I use a tsp of low carb strawberry jam on each pancake. | I don't know about pancake syrup, but DaVinci has awesome SF syrups in every flavor you can imagine, including pancake syrup. Several sites sell them, I get mine at Netrition.com. Robin |

| Have you tried smuckers sugar free breakfast syrup? It is rich tasting and thick...but it has 8 carbs. I prefer it, but there is another one, not so thick, but decent tasting called, "Vermont Sugar free low calorie syrup" and it has 4 carbs...both are for a 1/4 cup serving... not bad.

| I bought the Atkins Syrup too. I hated it! I haven't tried thickening it, but I don't think it will help the taste. Yuck! I found the best syrup is made at home. I cut up 2 large strawberries into small dice and heat it in a pan with a few tablespoons of strawberry s/f syrup. The strawberries kind of desolve and make a thick sweet syrup. Delish!! You could probably do this with any combo of berries and s/f syrups. I love it!

| Walden Farms has a zero carb syrup that is thicker and tastes better. I did find a use for my Atkins today. Added some to my CarbSense hot breakfast cereal and it was yummy. By itself or on pancakes it is too sickening and thin -- UGH! I hated to throw it away, because of expense and now I can actually use it...
