This month (March) issue of Self talks about cortisol being a hormone released during times of stress and dieting. It mentions that it can increase your appetite esp. sweets and cause fat to get stored in our bellies. I don't want to quote from the mag. But this particular issue is very, very informative in my opinion on a lot of issues talked about on this forum.
