Well, this was an interesting day. I think of my boyfriend as one of my biggest supporters on this woe, mainly because he doesn't say much about it. He has the attitude of i look great at no matter what size i am, and he's happy if i'm happy.

However, tonight he upset me because he was going to his sister b=day party, i have to study so i stayed home. Anyway i told him to please eat his cake at the party because they always order my favorite cake for all their b-day parties and last time (a few months ago) i had a huge piece when he brought some home. They are a big family so there is a party at least once a month....that's too much cheating.

Anyway, he came home with a huge piece and ate a portion of it right in front of me, put the rest on the table didn't even bother to hide it in the fridge and said that the rest was for my brother. I really think that he wanted me to eat it! I asked him to please not do that again. I did however end up serving myself a huge piece and then as i was eating it, i got really upset at myself and threw away the half that was left...I've been lcing for a year now and should know better... this is so frustrating!

Wouldn't this WOE be easier without temptation.
But you have to deal with it no matter who you are. You can't force people not to eat forbiiden foods in front of you but you can walk away or ask the person to get it out of your sight. At least you only ate half that piece of cake. Sorry this happened.

Instead of feeling bad about the cake you ate, feel proud about throwing the rest away. I bet you'll remember this and it will help keep you strong.

My teenage son makes me buy him Oreos (which are my favorite), I hide them in the cabinet and tell him to eat them in his room.

Ugh sorry about the cake, I know how it feels.

Lissette,

We shall get stronger, and we SHALL succeed! Congrats on realizing this so quickly and NOT eating the whole piece - it could have been MUCH worse!!!

I know that i was a bit stonger this time than last time. But i just want to get to a point in my life where food isn't such a factor of my happiness. I was so upset at myself and it shouldn't be that way. Today i've had a gallon of water and it's not even 5pm yet. I couldn't even have breakfast this morning because i woke up mad...and i walked by Dunkin Donuts and was craving a donut! I was never a donut lover, but because i had that piece of cake it must have made my hormones go crazy this morning.

Anyway, hormon-wise i feel back to normal, not craving sweets probably because of all the water...It's been a good day. Thanks for all your support guys!

if someone has brought tempting HC foods into the house I will go make and eat a legal LC cheat. I can justify whipping cream if I'm actually doing the whipping by hand (with a wisk); that burns fat, right?
