SAMS ALSO CARRY A LOW CARB WRAP, SIMILAR TO A HOT POCKET. THEY ARE REALLY DELICIOUS AND GREAT TO HAVE ON HAND WHEN U ARE ON THE GO. THEY ARE MADE MY MICHAELANGO AND THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE. THEY HAVE A PEPPERONI AND CHEESE AND A HAM AND CHEESE.

Thanks -- I will look for these items. I go to Sams to buy my shakes, yogurt, and ice cream (yes, I can still lose weight eating the Atkins ice cream) --

Had not notice the wraps, meals or lc milk. Thanks for the information!!

My local Sam's has a lot of low carb products but the only stuff i find in the refrigrator/freezer section is ice cream. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place? where about are these lc frozen meals and "hot Pockets"?

Went to Sams today and could not find "hot pockets" or low carb meals. Well I did see some meals that said low carb and had 18 - 25 carbs each. I did find my Carb Countdown chocolate milk which was new to them and only $2 something. Got my shakes, cream cheese, salad mix, and some yummy looking fish. May have the fish for dinner tomorrow. Maybe those items will make their way to my Sams soon. Thanks for the head's up.

The food refered to here is a LC pocket pizza or ham and cheese wrap. You heat them up for about 15m. They are quite good at only 7 grams of carbs. Personally, with my schedule, I have to rely on some processed/convinience foods. They also have an actual pizza that is LC at 9gms of carbs.

Thanks Robin, with my schedule that would be a great help on some days! I will keep watching for them. It seems like every time I go to Sams, they have added more items.

Ok it has been YEARS since I have been to Sams? Do you need a membership card? Can you buy one as an individual or is it through work? And how much does it cost?

Thanks

Yes, you need a membership and I believe it was $35 last time. Of course I buy my contact lens there and recoup the membership fee in no time.

THE LOW CARB " HOT POCKETS" THAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT, THEY ARE MADE BY MICHAEL ANGELO'S AND THEY ARE CALLED CARBBALANCE. THEY ARE HAM AND CHEESE AND PEPPERONI AND CHEESE. THEY HAVE 9 GRAMS OF CARBS AND 34 GRAMS OF PROTEIN AND 1 GRAM OF FIBER EACH. THEY ARE PACKAGED 8 TO A BOX AND THEY COST LIKE 6 SOMETHING AT THE SAM'S CLUB I GO TO. THEY ARE VERY FILLING AND QUITE DELICIOUS. IF YOU CANT FIND THEM, ASK ONE OF THE ASSOCIATES AND IM SURE THEY WILL HELP YOU LOCATE THEM.
NOW WITH HEATING THEM UP, I HAVE LEARNED THEY ARE MUCH BETTER IF YOU ROTATE THEM HALF WAY THRU THEIR HEATING CYCLE, DOING THIS THE ENDS WONT GET SO HARD IN THE MICROWAVE.

GOOD LUCK, AND BEING A PERSON THAT WORKS A LOT OF 10 - 12 HR DAYS, I CANT TELL YOU HOW CONVENIENT THEY CAN BE.

ROBIN HAVE U TRIED THE LOW CARB PIZZA YET, I DECLINED THE PIZZA BECAUSE OF THE PRICE AND YOU ONLY GET 4 PERSONAL SIZE FOR ALMOST 10 BUCKS. DIDNT WANT TO TRY THEY AND THEY NOT BE GOOD. LOL.
ALSO ROBIN I NOTICED THAT YOU ARE IN THE HAMPTON ROADS, VA AREA ALSO. WE'RE NEIGHBORS.

I too seen the LC ice cream! I am definitly going to have to look for the other stuff. The only problem is any sam's clubs near me are at least a hour away!

Joanna: I just renewed my membership 3 weeks ago and slatelee is correct it is $35.00.

I have purchased the "hot pockets" and the Michaelangelo pizza at Sam's. BEWARE: the pizza's carb count is for HALF of a pizza - and they are only about 6-7 inches altogether!! I guess I need to read the entire label carefully before buying! I decided to scrape the cheese/pepperoni/sausage off the crust and just heat that up. I won't be buying them again!

Finally got by SAMs today and got the lc hotpockets...YUMMY!

Now I have something to grab when running late for work and need something for lunch.

I went ahead and grabbed a box of the pizza's with the thought of "good pizza fix" once in a blue moon... The crust was alittle doughy...I'll try it without a pan next time to crisp it up some.
