| Do you really need to have at least 15 carbs per day coming from veggies every day to still keep losing, or is that just when you start OWL? |

| I'm not sure there is a certain number, but if you maintain the majority of your carbs coming from veggies, it does seem to be more satisfying and help in losing weight. Some other carbs can lead to stalls. YMMV (your mileage may vary) applies here too. Some days it is easier to get veggies in than others. For me I seem to get to eat more, when I choose the veggies...

| There's no set number but on induction level carbs of 20 net per day the majority should come from high fiber veggies. So 15 or more would probably be about right. On Owl that number should increase as you up your carb allowance. at 35 carbs I would recommend that 25 or so be from good veggies. after 35 I allow myself to have the low carb products like breads, tortillas etc. And an occasional empty calorie indulgence like a low carb dessert. Though it's not nearly as empty as Highcarb desserts. |
