| I have always had this question and able hoping some veterans will be able to answer it...I know that during induction, you are not to have more than 3-4 oz of cheese per day so I have always kept to that limit...however, when you are raising your carbs, I know it says that you can add back 5 oz of other types oc cheeses - so does that mean eating 5 oz of cheese on top of the 4 oz you are already having in induction - in other words, you can eat 9 oz of cheese instead of 4 oz on OWL...am I getting this correct? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong! Sheyla 186/127/105 60.5 inches |

| Yea--but things like fresh cheeses--cottage cheese and the like not 5 more ounces of hard cheese on to p of the other 4! I would recommend not having 4 on a day when you eat 5gs from another cheese source

| Now I understand more...thank you very much for clearing that up for me! It's too bad I don't like cottage cheese, though...at least it would be something I could add when I increase my carb intake...oh, well...maybe I'll add ricotta or something...and thank you for the advice on not having 4 oz if I was going to have 5 oz of the fresh cheeses.
