I GOT IN MY CAR, HEADING FROM WORK, GOT REALLY NERVOUS BECAUSE I HAD A CHESAPEAKE COP TAILING ME, SO I DECIDED LET ME SLIP MY SEAT BELT ON ( I NEVER USED TO WEAR MY SEAT BELT, BECAUSE I WAS ALWAYS SQUEZZED UP IN IT) BEFORE HE PULLS ME OVER AND I GET A TICKET FOR THAT, ANYWAY, THE SEAT BELT WASNT TIGHT. I WAS BLOWN AWAY AND BEGAN LAUGHING TO MYSELF SO HARD THAT I HAD TEARS. HAVING LOOSE CLOTHES IS FUN, BUT HAVING THAT SEAT BELT FIT LOOSELY WAS A REAL TREAT FOR ME. I KNOW I MIGHT SOUND SILLY, BUT THAT WAS SUCH A HUGE THING TO ME. DID ANYONE ELSE HAVE A SIMPLE BUT QUITE SURPRISING FIND HAPPEN TO THEM.

What a wonderful feeling!! Congrats! I am loving right now that all of my dress shoes are flopping off my feet when I walk -- even thought that means I have to go shopping. May try a few inserts and heel grippers before I invest in totally new shoes....

Yeah, I remember the first time I could sit like a lady and cross my legs with no effort. That was a biggie for me.

Also, the time I realized that I could buy one pair of panythose and wear them, instead of buying two pair of XXX large, cut one leg off each pair, and wear them both as one pair. That, too, was a biggie for me.

Quit laughing, y'all...I was huge and had to clad my legs with something when wearing a tent...er, dress.

Great, but I gotta agree - PLEASE put that ol' seatbelt on EVERY TIME you get behind the wheel! I've done that for so long that I feel totally nekkid if I don't wear it!!

I think mine was realizing that I could turn over in bed at night without grunting and groaning. Felt good too!

Fit And Trim To Be,

You made me laugh!

To your question, I had a funny thing happen to me about a week ago. I pull out a pair of gloves I hadn't used for a couple months and as I was driving to pick up my DD from track practice, I realized my gloves were LOOSE! I kept looking at my hands and wondering aloud "why do my gloves seem so loose?" My DS, sitting next to me, said "Mom, you've lost weight, of course your gloves are gonna be loose". Duh!! What an odd thing! I was VERY happy, though.

I needed this because even though I've lost about 20, SOME of my pants don't seem any looser.

Buckle Up!

This is just the BEST feeling!!! That first time I realized that the seat belt in our little Escort not only would go around me, but have a bit of slack too....WOW!!! I never thought I would be so tickled to put on my seatbelt. Now, everytime I do, I feel so proud of what I have accomplished!

my this is funy was a revelation that came at school--on a day I didn't tie my waist band up--I knew my pants were loose but had never had a pair fall off--so I didn't worry about it. Well, I should have--fortunately for me the kids weren't int he gym--but I pickes up one end of the balance beam and caught the tie on the bottom of the leg and when I sat it down guess where my pants were!!!!! I couldn't get the tie out from underneath easily so I was really glad no one was watching! Now I check my pants before I set it down--even though I tie the drawstrings in all my pants now--since I can!!!! and still get out of my pants without contortions!

I couldn't believe how lose fitting my leather coat fit me when I put it on the first time after this diet. Its so new I haven't gotten much use out of it, so I simply wrap it around without buttoning it, and let the belt hold it together... maybe when they go on sale I can get a much smaller one.. What a thrill!

My first was being able to scoot around in the bathtub because I had the room to. Doesn't take much to please me.

Please do wear that seat belt. Took me 2 accidents before I learned to. It isn't fun to be thrown around in a car because you aren't belted in and end up with injuries because of it. And my accidents were at only 35mph.

I've been living la vida LC since 10/1/03 (woohoo! almost 6 months!) Even though I have 10 lbs to goal weight-it must be the muscle-, I was able to fit into my jeans from high school with no pain involved. Now if they would only come back in style.
It's been totally inspiring to read these milestones!
