| Well, they had this in the vending machine at work so decided to get some...how bad could it really be for me? After spending the $1.50 on it, I looked at the back of the package. Whoa! 8 g of carbs! What's this stuff got in it? I started asking myself and went to look at the ingredients...sugar, corn syrup, fructose, dextrose...sugar! sugar! sugar! So you know what I did with that package? I tossed it in the garbage before I even had a chance to open it and try a piece - 'cuz that's exactly where it needed to go...another lesson learned... | Good for you! I have done the same thing - bought w/out reading. There is so much variance in beef jerky - from 2 to 10 grams!! Just shows, it does pay to pay attention!

| if you hadn't opened it - you may have been able to turn it back it, saying you picked the wrong thing. Our old vending supplier would refund for it.

| I've done the same thing...and brought it home only to realize it's loaded with sugar(had to give it away). Nearly all beef jerky will have sugars because that's part of the curing process.
