I know you all will say to call a dr. I just might if no one else has experienced this. But just curious...
I am on week 11 (i think) and am beginning to develop headaches. I dont know what is bringing it on. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced it.
I took ibuprofen and had a diet coke (caffinated) and it helped a little. I forced myself to walk at work before the bus came to drop off my two DS and it is much better but still lingering.
I eat 3 meals a day and average around 30-35 carbs. I do not snack at all-except for my strawberries and cream at night-
Could I be needing to eat more often?

i do get around 200 oz a water a day, so I know it is not dehydration.
Any thoughts?
Amy

I had a headache all week two weeks ago--no good reason I could find and as suddenly as they came on, they left--took Ibuprofen like it was going out fo style for about 5 days then no more headaches--I did go back to caffenated pop, but I don't think that had anything to do with it!

Amy - it could be the change in season. I find that I am more likely to get headaches right around fall and spring, just as the length of the days is changing noticeably. They always go away after a week or two.

Amy: I have been getting headaches at about the same time everyday between 3-4 PM, and by 6 when I get home I'm cranky. I found out mine are from low blood sugar. But my headaches were accompanied by a fuzziness in my head, loss of concentration, and a roaring in my ears when I'd bend over. I'd check mine at 6 and it would be 55-65 (not good). If this sounds like you, then you probably need to snack. I started snacking now when the 'feeling' starts to hit me and I'm actually losing better now. If when you eat something the headache starts to go away (within 15 min or so) it may be low blood sugar.

I have had a headache too that I can't get rid of. its been about four days now. I also have had allergies really bad the past couple of weeks too. I think its the change of weather. its been in the 80's here. I thought is was blood sugar too low too but even after a snack it still hurts. I also have tmj in my jaw and wonder if I have been clenching my teeth at night. it seems to hurt more there. hopfully it will go away

I get headaches a lot, or used to. Sometimes allergies trigger headaches for me, but I don't always know what I am allergic to. Something in the air maybe? I used to get headaches about the same time every day when I drank regular coffee everyday. I had to go to decaff. I take something called OPC-3 that helps with this now. I don't get hardly any allergies anymore and very few headaches. Which is really great. I'm the person who always carries the ibuprofen cause I wouldn't get caught without it. My headaches, if I didn't take something right away, would get very out of control, like migranes. Sick to my stomach and so forth. Anyway, the OPC-3 has stopped most all of that. If anyone is interested in trying it, you can get it online at www.isovitamins.com. Hope you figure out what it is.

Usually for me, headaches are brought on for 2 reasons:

stress and hormones

A good dose of B vitamins and a cup of coffee usually makes them subside, also dehydration will bring them on. Lotsa liquids.

I feel for you, headaches are the worst
