Hi all
Is eating a LC 4oz yogurt with a teaspoon or two of walnuts an ok breakfast: good or bad?????

I pack my breakfast and lunch and take to work and need something quick and easy. I do have eggs/cheese at times too..but I have taken a liking to bringing yogurt and nuts.

Comments????

Thanks
kristin

I bring the Dannon LC yogurt to work everyday (no cravings) Although, I bring it as a snack not as my breakfast. I really look forward to making myself breakfast in the AM and I know a LC yogurt wouldn't cut it.

The yogurt has not given me any cravings either...though I do not typically have cravings for anything.

The yogurt and walnuts keep me satisfied until lunch. Maybe it is all the water I drink keeping my stomach full....but I am never hungry anymore. I only eat becuase I know I should.

hey Kristin...

I work at 7am and I am NOT a morning person...so the Dannon LC yogurt with 2 tbsp of FlaxOMeal cherry granola has worked great for me. Like you, I think the amount of water I drink between breakfast and lunch is what keeps me full as that's when I get my most fluid intake.

I found FlaxOMeal at GNC...but I order it on netrition.com when I order my tortilla's.

There are 3 flavors:
Cinnamon Nutrageous - 1 net carb for 1/2 cup
Cranberry Macrageous - 2 net carbs for 1/2 cup
Wild Cherry Nutrageous - 2 net carbs for 1/2 cup

Now...I have NEVER been able to eat 1/2 a cup of this sugar free granola. I use 1-2 tbsp. in my yogurt (especially the Dannon vanilla...yummmm) and the Cherry has now lasted me almost 3 weeks.
