It just amazes me the difference between this time last year and this year. I've been playing softball all of my life, including the past few years for this co-ed league. Last year I accidentally-on-purpose sent my paperwork in too late so I didn't end up playing. I just did not have the energy. The year before, I was worn out halfway through the game and couldn't wait to be done and go EAT. Went to my first practice today and I was running around like I couldn't stop! Scored from first base, too! Could have done it last year...but this year it was effortless. One of the guys asked me if I had been doing wind sprints or something...I've had a really rough week, and it totally made my week to actually FEEL LIKE running around. All I can say is, WOW! Thanks, LC!

Isn't it wonderful, Tara? What a thrill to feel so much more ALIVE. But I can't help wondering if you're sore today...despite the new burst of energy and agility, the old bod still likes to ease into things, and I've had some killer "first practice" reminders in my day!

Yep...a little sore, pleasantly so.
