I have decided to quit obsessing about these last two lousey pounds! I just can't seem to lose them, so, I have decided to just live with them. They seem to have a will of their own, no matter what I do they still keep holding on with all their might. Less carbs, more carbs, more exercise, different kinds of exercise,It doesn't seem to make any difference. So, I surrender!!! I will maintain at this weight, and if they decide to just up and leave sometime this year, I will give them a farewell party! But if they decide to stick around, I'll be ok with that too, as long as they don't bring back any of their long lost friends to hang around with them.
I started "Low Carb Living" January 7,2003 at 137 pounds, my goal weight was 120 pounds, I am now at 122 pounds. It has been a very slow process this time around. Fifteen pounds in fifteen months, If there is any truth to the saying "The slower you lose it, the more likely you will keep it off" I will never gain that fifteen pounds back. Well anyway, I'm looking forward to maintenance, secure in the knowledge that I have won the battle, if not the war.
