| grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....we ALWAYs play yer purple boys tough...*L*...i drink the morrocan mint green tea with no sugar or splenda or anything... coffee tastes nasty right now... i need to find a good chicken broth .. any ideas anybody?? i had a bunch of broccoli last nite.. they cooked it to GREY..*L* i fortunately didnt order the porkchops because my darlin honeymoon ordered them and they were (HORRORS!) breaded!!! wth? whats up with THAT? ANYWHO... i got my tea brewin as we speak.. i am SOOOOOOOOOOO jacked tho.. blazers lakers .. what could be better? when they do that 1000 reasons to love this game,,, i always yell LAKER RIVALRY!! THATS what its all about baby!! boo boo (heh heh.. i kinda like that...its much nicer than what they called me in gradeschool in my neighborhood.. TANK! grrrrrrrrrrrrrr boo boo is WAAAAAAAAAY nicer..;-) |

| that was below the belt..*L*... i really couldnt believe that your purpleboys didnt turn it on at the end and destroy us..wow.. i did find some great broth yesterday to ease my sore throat so i could scream at the end of the game..;-) its called BETTER THAN BOULLION i think... and it was really yummy with some bits of chicken tossed in.. i have to tell ya.. i am pretty jacked that i am doin INDUCTION here..*L*... sore throat has kept me away from any lo carb treat thangs that i was scarfin before.. havent had anything off induction in two days.. wish me luck! how are you hangin in? |

| heykim, don't know how to do it. how did you get the face as your avatar? still trying to learn this new site and what it can do. i am haning in there. my carbs are at about 40 per day, not induction level, cuz i just couldn't stick with such a low carb amount. maybe i should try to catch a cold from someone?? :-)

| hmmmmm.. who would i MOST want to catch a cold from....?? heck.. THATS easy.. jerome kersey... love of my life..*L*.. lets see.. i think i went to my place.. went to avitar options... and pasted in the addy for the picture.. i did break down and buy a bottle of diet squirt today.. i hate diet anything... but i was desperate for something carbonated on my throat.. i dont have diet rite in this hick town... so it was the aspertame or nuttin i guess..:-( only took a couple swallows tho.. so hopefully i will not stall.. as long as you are still keepin an eye on your carbs you are doing okay... when you feel stronger you can always go back and struggle with induction with me again..*L* i sure dont know WHY it seemed so much easier the first time... *SIGH* HEY! did ya see that i managed to pull it out last nite over the warriors... dang my boy uncle cliffy tried to make a game of it tho.. gave me a scare! :-) anywho girl.. you hang tough.. i am pullin for ya... i think i play your purple boys on wednesday again.. AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! |

| Hey Cherub, I hear ya. I've been dieting for years and years. Thank God I found this woe. It is so much less painful than "traditional" low calorie dieting. I'm so glad this method is available to us. I noticed and wanted to point out to you that you have already lost 20% of the weight you want to lose. 20%! That's a very good start. Why stop now? Maybe you could regain your motivation by making one commitment at a time. Restarting a whole program can be daunting. Since weight loss is 90% about what you eat maybe you could commit to restarting induction eating and drinking without exercise or supplements. Next, when you feel ready, you could add your supplements. Maybe taking walks would suffice instead of going to the gym for a while. After all, it is springtime. Who doesn't want to get outdoors at this time of year? Do you have a dog that loves walkies? Perfect excuse. Strap on the headset and go enjoy the sights and smell the flowers. How about rereading your Atkins book. Since this is probably what got you excited about doing this woe before it may very well spark you up again. Good luck and keep us posted!

| Thanks, Cindy! You are so right on all the points you've made. I started on Friday to just eliminate sugar. And my plan is to eliminate bread starting this coming Friday. Those are the two food groups I had slipped up on and started eating again. And as most of us know, it's a slippery slope. I'm back, though a little shaky, but I keep coming here and all your support and encouragement really helps. It's nice to know I have a community of folks who go through the same stuff I do and still keep fighting! I'm not going to stop battling my demons!
