| mrsnotso Newbie 04-01-04 03:45 PM 04-01-04 01:45 PM I have been losing gradually, now up to 18 lbs in a month to 6 weeks, and happy. I just feel tired all the time. I finally resorted to a cup of real coffee yesterday and was full of energy. I follow the plan religiously and make sure to eat good and often. Any suggestions for a happy person?? Thanks in advance.Posts: 10 | Registered: 02-11-04 ![]() ![]() ![]() FIT AND TRIM TO BE Newbie 04-01-04 08:48 PM 04-01-04 06:48 PMAre u taking any supplements and getting your rest at night. and are you getting enough carbs to complement your activity level. im still kinda new at it, but theres lots of vets here, who can steer you the right way. good luck to you.Posts: 38 | From: portsmouth, va, usa Rob Admin/Moderator Low Carb For Life 04-02-04 07:13 AM 04-02-04 05:13 AMI had the same problem until I added back coffee to my day. After 2 months of drinking only decaf I still never felt fully awake. I drink half-caf now and I usually have plenty of energy. Rob 310/226.5/180 Me, a skeptic? I trust you have proof. Fatigue can be cause by low potassium as well, try adding some high potassium foods like spinach everyday. I try to make at least half of all my salads from spinach for that very reason. They always help! I didn't think of the potassium, I will try doing that. I do take a complex vitamin daily and have from the beginning. I am exercising when I can, yoga and treadmill (about 6 minute daily right now). I have a sedentry job which takes a lot of mind power, so the caffeine is really missed. Does this cause a stall? I do feel like I am retaining more water, so I raised my intake. Thanks again all!Posts: 10 ![]() ![]() Kristin Low Carber 04-02-04 02:29 PM 04-02-04 12:29 PM I'm tired all the time....not really out of energy per se....but I yawn constantly. I also have a deck job and sit all day. I drink 100oz+ daily and do not drink coffee(I have never drank it as I do not care for it). I sleep 8hr/night. Not sure why I am so tired.... | I'm now on a potassium and mineral supplement with my multivitamin and calcium, so I'll see how this goes. I was a bit better today. Should I be taking anything else? |

| I was having the same problem, My energy level is very high in the morning. But around three in the afternoon I'm just pooped. I started taking a vitamin "B" complex two days ago and I can already feel the difference!! This is about the time of day I start dragging but I I'm still full of energy. If you aren't getting enough of the "B"s you might consider trying a "B" complex. If you decide to take them one word of advice, besure to take them with food or they will make you nauseous. Good luck....... |
