| Ok, so I've been eating salad relgiously since August and lately I cant even look at a bag of the green leafy stuff without my stomach turning. I've been taking cauliflower and dip to work everyday which is great and tastey. But has anyone had a similar experience?? I really do like salad, but blah..I just cant eat it anymore!! I'm also kind of worried because I dont want to start eating crap in its place. DOH!!

| Why limit yourself to salad? There's always cooked vegetables: broccoli cauliflower green beans spinach cabbage And more. I use radishes, cucumbers, green peppers, and raw cabbage as snacks.

| I too was eating salad a lot when I started.......I guess having salad with full fat dressings, cheese, olives, etc was a treat!! But now I mix it up a bit. I also eat broccoli, green beans, cauliflour, and so on. Try some different veggies, and I think the salad will become appetizing again. Robin |

| I've had that happen too over the years -- ya get to the point where you cant even look at lettuce I go thru phases where salads are concerned when i'm tired of them, then i just eat a lot more veggies to make up for it enjoy your veggies and dip -- it is a nice change of pace |

| I have too gone thru the yuck salad phase, like a phase it passes and comes back as it does w/ other foods. I am now liking salad again, but for a while I thought, UHOH I'm not giving up on LC am I? I figured if I was getting sick of salad, the rest would be soon to follow. Just don't worry about it for now eat something different until you "feel" the salad again...

| I'm one of those people who LOVE salad, but even I get tired of lettuce; let's face it, it's not very exciting every day. The others are right; as long as you eat veggies, you're ok. Try cauliflower fauxtato salad, or your yummy full-fat dressing on lightly steamed, chilled broccoli. I toss steamed green beans and mushroom halves in Italian dressing and keep it in the fridge; or cole slaw made with Splenda. I also like celery stuffed with peanut butter or cream cheese mixed with a little green onion. And the dip-and-veggies thing is always good.

| I only eat salad about 2 or 3 times a week so I do not get sick of it. Sometimes instead of a veggie, I have a fruit with my meal. Thats always a good change. Jackie

| I happen to be one of those people who like salad a lot, but I did some online research and there are so many ways to fix salad.. I LOVE the greek salad, and sometimes I simply want greens, with grated, or chopped hard boiled eggs, and bacon pieces.. I love it that way. there are so many wonderful things to do with a salad, and that is why they are so great. When we get tired of doing it one way, we still have so many choices left.

| I can't add much new to what's been said except shake it up variety-wise! I vary my greens a lot, use different kinds of lettuce, and different toppings - artichoke hearts, hearts of palm, canned pimientos, steamed asparagus, Calamata olives, cubes of feta or bleu cheese - and definitely change up the dressings too. When I get really sick of salad, I switch to coleslaw or shredded jicama with a mayo-based dressing. Also I will oven-roast a pan of assorted veggies, they are great cold! Just toss them with olive oil, spread in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet, sprinkle with garlic salt, and put in a preheated 425* oven til they are starting to brown. Turn over or shake, depending on the veggies, and cook til lightly browned all over. Good candidates for this treatment: eggplant, portabello mushrooms, any color bell pepper, asparagus, Brussels sprouts that have been cut in half and steamed lightly first, and our faves, fresh green beans. I've even done broccoli and cauliflower. The roasting brings out the natural sugars in the veggies and makes them SO GOOD! Char

| My lunch today consists of a green pepper slice in thick strips and I'm dipping it into tuna salad. I too get tired of salads, I have one every day of the week, but I'm trying different things. I'm not very creative..... |
