Default Is it possible to combine WW with this WOE?

I know this has been touched on in the past but am having trouble finding helpful posts when I search the forums. I'm back to LCing (mostly CAD) and have about 10 pounds to lose. I love the accountability that WW offers but don't know if it's possible to work their points system with the LC way. I really am not familiar with their system at all. Please help me understand if/how this combination might work.

Thanks so much.

Martha

Martha,

Hopefully Ilse (laffingbead/kokle) will see this and respond. She has successfully combined the two (CALP & WW) before.

Best wishes to you.

Martha,

I post a journal daily (under Kokle's journal). I (up until recently) list the WW points for all the food I eat and for activity points. I did CALP for a long time.

Doing LC and WW isn't ideal, as LC tends to be higher fat, and that really eats into the points. (1 oz of most cheeses is 3-4 points, 1T of oil is 3-4 points, heavy cream is 3-4 points)(you get the idea).

And, it does take a certain amount of energy to keep track that way. The beauty of CAD/CALP is that you don't have to count anything if you eat from the list of LC foods and the balance at the RM is visual.

Let me know if you have any questions about it.
