Default Entenmanns low carb baked goods...

I found entenmanns low carb baked goods in the store here, they looked really good so i said i buy 2 items to try out, i bought the blueberry muffins an the fudge brownies.
The muffins are really really good and moist, i was so surprised when i tasted them, the fudge brownies are ok, but the muffins tasted best to me. They had several other items, maybe i'll get around to trying them some other time.

Most of them are 9g net carbs per serving, and muffins are actually full size muffins. I am so glad i have control over the portions, they could have been a disaster. lol.

I found a entemanns butter loaf - looks like a pound cake. Haven't tried it yet - I plan to have with some fresh fruit. and freeze most of it.
I'll let you know how it is, and how it holds up to freezing.

tried the butter loaf - heaven!!! but I may change my mind later. second ingredient is malitrol syrup. but I had it for dessert after a large spinach salad, and had plenty of carbs available for it. I'm already 'gurgling', but that may be the large salad too - they do that to me sometimes.

but it does taste awesome - just like a pound cake. (had just a little bit of strawberry lc ice cream with it).
says 9 carbs, but ignoring the sugar alcohols, more like 20 per 1/8 slice - but I was only about half of that. gonna cut it all up into slices, keep out one more - and freeze the rest for 'as time goes on'.

I haven't seen the labels on these products, but in addition to the sugar alcohols, they probably contain hydrogented oils, or trans fats - nearly all baked goods do. Proceed with caution!

And these would not be for those who are still having trouble controlling their cravings. it would just be a substitute, and overindulged.
Which is why I am freezing most of it. I figure maybe one-two slice a month for the duration. Its just a nice little slice of 'cake' that is better than the other option. I like a little treat once in a while, and this will definitely do it. knowing me, I'll probably forget about it in the freezer anyhow.
would be a problem if I leave it out however.

Wow, i did exactly what u did, i freezed the muffins, but i just had to have one for breakfast this morning, lol. i think i may need to think twice about purchasing anymore, or maybe only purchase when i know i will be able to share the entire box and not have any left over, lol.
