Default back to induction or not?

Well the holidays just bit me in the butt... I did very good at first. I hadnt had a chance to bake my LC muffins to take to church.. to much happend over weeknd and just didnt get them done. So i did realy good once i got to church i got both of my kids their doughnut and chocolate milk... and i took one sip of chocolate milk.... fine.... kids did their program.. ect.. my youngest was very hyper due to grandma and pappy letting them have candy first thing in the morning... so we left church earlie... to get rdy to go to family's house... (when i should have ate something i was aloud i didnt..)
on the road we go.. grab my water bottle... get to family's house 1 hr later... hugggs and hear such wonderfull compliments... "ommmmyy.. you have lost so much weight your looking wonderfull!!!!" "i can't belive you have lost so much weight, you look great!" ect... well that did it.. went to start eating was doing great.. ham... smoked deer meat... my califlower stuff, brocoli salad cucumber sticks celery sticks.. and i took 1 tiny spoon of sweet potato. sat down ate that... looking around at what everyone else was eating the dinner rolls.. the plate full of deserts i buckled... went for seconds .. was still doing good... i acted as if i grabed a dinner roll for my toddler and split it w/ him knowing he wouldnt eat the hole thing i started nibbleing on the other half.. (I checked carb eating 1/2 of it would have only set me about 7 carbs..)

well then i grabed these small date cookies..and 1/2 a piece of gob cake..

i blew it... welp .. today i think i must push my self to induction eating and level... will be hard since i went so far over ... but i can do it... and WILL..

sorry so long but i had to show my steps of the day that broke me down

thanks for bareing w/ me

It's not that big a deal. You can go off plan for the holidays and just get right back on plan the next day. Your plan to do induction level carbs is probably a good bet but just until you get back into ketosis. So Good luck with that.

By the way. I notice your signature format is different than most people use on this board.. generally people put down starting weight/current weight/goal weight. It's easier and more compact than listing individual weigh-ins. Just a thought but no big deal if you want to continue doing it this way.

yeah , like rob says, no big deal. most of us fall off and have to dust our selves off and get back on.

now other than eating off plan, did you enjoy yourself. now that is the biggest thing.

i did enjoy... but i kept thinking.. if im killing my diet why not w/ "a plate of spaggetti.. . or some thing i love..." i can make lc cake.. its just what was there..
I havebrushed my self off .. and back on track.. and today.. well i have had 2 2inch cucumber sticks.. 2 eggs 2 pc bacon 1/2 cup egg salad made w/ mayo celery and mustard.. I need to get on track drinking my water.. thanks for the words of encouragement...
and i do plan on editing my weigh in thing.. I just wanted a way to keep track of when i weighed my self and what i lost... i guess i will do that in my journal... thanks all of you..

A few days of induction might be a good idea. I went back on induction during the weekend, because I had been knocked out of ketosis.

I also want to remind you that if you did gain any weight, it is most likely from your body trying to rebuild it's glycogen (glucose) supply. This will add water weight, which will go away within a couple of days of low carbing.

And don't forget to keep drinking plenty of water...
