Cool Back to Induction

Well after a real long time of doing good and losing 50 lbs. I back slid this weekend and went on an eating binge. Do I feel guily no not really but I am ready to hit this thing hard again. I ate everything you could imagine my face even started breaking out again. So the next to weeks I will be on induction everyone pray for me I'll be back to my comfort place soon.

Bye
Stacy

I've back slid more time than I can count, usually due to boredom of food selections I have, but the important thing to remember is...don't feel guilty and get right back to it. We all need a break once in a while from the diet and it can also jump start our bodies out of the anti starvation mechenism it has and get us back to loosing weight. See it as a learning experience. To me, when I see my eczema breaking out again, I remember WHY I went on the diet in the first place and get right back on.

You are not the only one to slip this weekend. Returning to induction for a few days can really help you get back on track.

I'm sure A LOT of people back slid over Easter. The important thing is that you are getting right back on it with vigor.

I have a question for you: did you get sick from eating off plan? Last weekend I went on a mini-vacation and ate high carbs foods. I didn't stuff my face or eat anything close to as much as I could have (insert evil grin here) but I did eat a variety of sugary/starchy items and, not only did I gain 6.5 pounds in two days (!), but I got really, really sick. I was bloated big time and experienced, shall we say, a full assortment of lavatorial indignities. I didn't feel normal again until Friday, after eating clean for 4 full days. My face also broke out too, like you were saying. These things are powerful incentives for me to eat on plan. I haven't been tempted to cheat once since I returned.

Talking Re: Back to Induction

I realized one huge thing on my easter binge. That my body is not designed to handle sugar. The first day was horrible I couldn't go to sleep until 5am. I had the shakes and I was irratable. Like I stated before my face has been invaded by painful pimples and I think it will be awhile before I cheat this bad ever again.
