"Ongoing Weight Loss" at Low Carb Diet Support: "has anyone tried these? discovered them this weekend at walgreen's. they helped get me through a sweet craving (well, that was before i fell off the wagon) .... but anyway, they are made w/ splenda ...."

Question GoLightly SF Fruit Chews

has anyone tried these? discovered them this weekend at walgreen's. they helped get me through a sweet craving (well, that was before i fell off the wagon) ....
but anyway, they are made w/ splenda and are pretty tasty.

Their cinnamon hard candies are really good too!

I'll have to look for the chews - sometimes it's nice to have a CHEWY sweet - are they like gummy bears or Jujubes or what??

Char - it is more like a taffy chew, I think someone compared it to starburst. I don't find them as tart as the starburst - my kids all like the strawberry. They come in peach and chocolate too!

When I saw this topic, I immediately thought of the laxative solution given to prep patients for a colonoscopy. It's called Go Litely...believe it or not!

LOL!! that's funny ... b/c you're not far off!

i ate too many of these candies yesterday and they just about had that effect!!! they reeeeallly upset my tummy, so i may have to withdraw my positive review!!

I just saw those, but didn't get. its 36g carbs, 35 g sugar alcohols. I just never subract the sa - so I thought it was awfully high for a sweet treat. Not that it matters, I'm stuck again anyhow.

they say they are made w/ splenda - sucralose was the only SA i saw on the ingredients, if i remember correctly. so i thought i'd be ok ....
they really upset my tummy, so i won't be going back for more.

Unfortunately, an adverse reaction can occur at any time to a food product that you've eaten for many times before without any problems.
