| Hi all, Though I have been in ketosis on and off the entire time I have been doing this WOE....I have never had the real strong metallic taste in my mouth like I have had the past two days. When I tested with the stick last night it was darker pink/purple than I have seen in a long time...and I still drank the usual 990z water yesterday. Why would it be stronger these days than others? YUCK....but if it is helping me lose fat...I'll deal with it. Thanks, Kristin PS...On my TOM last Friday, I still lost another pound....22lbs total now and I need to check my measurements too. YAHOO

| Thanks...but that can't be my situation...as I eat very little fat. Yesterday I had a 6oz LC yogurt and walnuts...about a teaspoon for breakfast. Lunch was a large salad with 2 TBSP dressing Dinner was broiled chicken, spinach and another salad.... Not any more fat that I normally eat in a day.....so I am stumped. Oh well....as long as I am in ketosis I guess I can deal with it. Kristin

| well, for me ive had to deal with the ketosis breath from the start, ive learned that when its really strong i have had a day too low in carbs, the next day i up my carbs a lil and its not as bad, and also when i have a really good workout, i try to eat some low carb bread or veggies or fruit about an hour before my workout sessions, this help with the breath and it helps me finish my workouts without being so fatigued. not sure how much working out you are doing, but i always get it really bad after i workout if i dont eat the carbs before my workout.

| The other thing to remember is that bodies aren't test-tubes, LOL! Many different factors influence various metabolic processes and it isn't always easy to identify a cause/effect relationship. In general, though, the bad taste kind of comes with the territory, so to speak. You're in good company.

| For the first month I really had it strong too. But since I'm eating a bit more carbs, and drinking water and exercising, it's not so noticable. Some one said that the reduction of the taste in the mouth might be due to the sweating from exercise and all the water we drink. |
