| Hi everyone. Just a question: For a few weeks before I started Atkins (I started on Feb 16, 04) , I tracked what I ate in Fitday to monitor my eating habits. It turns out that I could eat 3000-6000 calories per day and still be hungry! When I started this WOL, I ate between 2000 and 2500 calories (still might sound high but I lost like crazy) per day without being hungry. However, in the last week or two, I have been STRUGGLING to eat 1600 cal per day. I expected an appetite reduction when I started this WOL, but nothing like this. Has anyone else's appetite been reduced so drastically? (BTW - I have no complaints about this! I was just wondering if it is normal.) Thanks everybody! -JennE |

| Not unusual, Jenn. Ketosis generally has a limiting effect on appetite (except for women at that TOM Just make sure that you're eating a bit of something every few waking hours so you don't "turn off your furnace" and you'll be doing fine!
