You have to keep trying to see which ones you can stand, but IMHO, Keto LC Spaghetti is pretty good, and so is pastalia's brand.

I too, hated Atkins pasta. It was one of the worst things I've ever tasted. Threw out the whole box after one taste. But that seems to be the trend with most LC items that I've tried - either you like it, or you hate it - for me, there's no middle.

I only buy the Bella Vita brand of LC soy pasta and only use the rotini. It's the only kind that I think tastes really good; an almost nutty flavor. I made shrimp alfredo a few nights back and it was excellent. Used it in homemade mac-n-cheese tonight; also very good. I also think you kinda have to keep an open mind....soy pasta will never taste like semolina.

Have you tried Pastalia fettuccini? Or Darielle brand? I liekd those well enough. But I hope you don't expect to duplicate the texture and taste of pasta made with super refined flours. If you are, you will remain disappointed.

I've never tried any low carb spaghetti or pastas. But I have had some pretty nasty low carb foods, and the worst was "Carbsense" hot cereal (cinnimon spice). I can eat just about anything, but that stuff actually made me GAG!!! I finally bought some "Flax O' Meal" because I really needed the fiber in it, and It is very good.

Muellers makes a low carb spaghetti that is decent, altho it still has more carbs then I like.. its decent tasting tho.

I've tried Pastalia, Darielle, and Bella Vita, and they are all okay. I find they work better if I doctor them up a lot. For example, I don't just boil up pasta and then add toppings. I do things like combine it all together (pasta, sauce, meat, cheese) and then bake it as a casserole. The extra baking seems to help the texture and blend the flavors. I always did like whole wheat pasta, though, and to me these aren't this far a leap from that. Haven't tried the Atkins or Keto brand pastas because I've heard too many bad reviews on them.

i have to agree with lou, the muellers pasta is pretty good, however if you cant afford the extra carbs in it, then it wont be a good idea for you. also, muellers have their servings very generous, when i cooked it i only used 1/2 a serving and that was very sufficient and filling. the name of it is muellers reduced carb pasta. ive tried lots of pasta and so far that is the best if tasted. i agree most of it will make u gag, almost like eating on dead wood or something.

DeBoles Carb fit isn't much better btw -- I think you have to have an agreeable arrangement with SOY prior to eating most of those. They tend to be made out of SOY, and if you can't stand it - you just can't stand it. I don't care for the taste - so I just do without.

Interesting item though - one of my coworkers in Milwaukee puts her sauce (alfredo) over green beans. I haven't tried it yet (bought some tonight) - but she swears by it.

Over green beans eh?

That's not a bad idea. I think the next time the wife wants to make spaghetti, I will just have it over a can of french style. That I am sure will do just fine.
