Default Subway Wraps

oh my.. i went to subway today and tried their wrap... i didnt like the choices so i made my own of chipolte(spelling wrong) beef steak... had them add bacon .. lettuce ..tomato ..red onion and bell pepper.. it was AWESOME! i have GOT to find out what kind of wrap they are.. they were not stiff like my la tortilla kind. they were about 9 inches around not the small kind... and they SAY they are 5 carbs.. (for tortilla only) it TOTALLY WAS DELICIOUS! it was huge with all the lettuce and veggies .. and it was warm and yummy on this raining depressing day.. i am STUFFED so i wont be eating much if anything for dinner..
whoa.. anyone got any info on who makes the wraps for subway? i keep forgetting to ask my foodservice guy.. he does ship somethings to subway..
gotta get these things for home!
i have tried the mission ones... i liked these MUCH better..

Hey, Kim! There was a thread somewhere about Subway Wraps...I didn't read it, just saw the title. I have an aversion to Subway...got soooo tired of it when it was the only thing close (to our business) for lunch. I was at Sonic the other day with my 6 yr.old, getting her a kid meal when I saw their (limited time) lowcarb wrap. It comes on a regular tortilla unless you pay 50 cents more for an "upgrade" to a l/c tortilla. Then they put light ranch on it. Don't you think light ranch is bound to be more sugary than regular ranch? Anyway, I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, no honey mustard, no tomato, and added bacon. When we got home, I tossed the bun, cut up the chicken and lettuce, and rolled it up in a l/c tortilla with the bacon, some cheese, and real ranch. Ooh, it was wonderful. I'll have to try the Mission lowcarb tortillas...I saw them at Kroger the other day. I know this doesn't answer your question, but I thought I'd throw my 2 cents in anyway!
