| Who has tried this sweetener and does it have a bad aftertaste? How many carbs also in the packets it says there are zero but you never know for sure. |

| If you use too much Stevia Plus, you can get an aftertaste. My cousin tastes licorice. I don't.

| I luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuv SteviaPlus. I don't notice an aftertaste, but it does not taste just like sugar either. My guess is that it has between 0-1 carbs per serving.

| While I don't know anything specific about Stevia-plus, I will say that I count all sugar substitutes as 1 g. While the substitutes themselves are 0g, they contain fillers which are usually some type of sugar...

| Stevia Plus has fructooligosaccharides in it which is actually a fiber. It dissolves quickly in liquids as opposed to straight stevia. It HAS TO BE USED IN SMALL AMOUNTS!!!! Start with the tiniest pinch and adjust to taste. If you use tooooo much it will be bitter, so start in itsy bitsy amounts. I believe it's 600 times sweeter than sugar. It does NOT impact insulin levels and will NOT encourage Candida (yeast) growths either. It's the best sweetener in my opinion. It's natural and I believe, something the liver can handle. Give it a try, use it sparingly, play around with it and enjoy it. I use it in EVERYTHING sweet!!!!

| Barb, Do you use the spoonable (bulk) splenda or the splenda in packets? have you tried the liquid? So far, I've used just the packets, but I'm thinking of getting either the liquid or the spoonable to use in making ice tea by the gallon. They both seem more expensive than getting the packets, but it's my understanding that they are both more concentrated and that they go farther. Would this be your impression? Unfortunately, the place where I order my SteviaPlus does not accurately show the serving amount in their descriptions of the liquid or dry bulk. I've just been wanting some feedback on the other ways of getting the SteviaPlus into my iced tea.

| I find a combination of stevia and splenda tends to cancel out the bitterness inherent in both. |

| I use both measurable (big yellow bag) and packets. It depends on what I'm making and how much I need to use. I have not tried the liquid, mainly because I have the splenda sweetened syrups, which are made with liquid splenda. I believe there is a thread pertaining to liquid sucralose, I will try to find it and post a link. I get SteviaPlus from Whole Foods, if you have one in your area. I also use "Now Foods" Stevia. It is mixed with nothing, just pure stevia. I agree, a combo of the 2 sweeteners makes it nice and rounded tasting. But of course, you have to play around with it to find the right amount. Sometimes I get my "frappacinos" a bit too sweet, but I drink it anyway, what with my ever present sweet tooth.
