Default Womens' Cycle Question

Here's one for the girls at or close to goal -
Do you find that your menstrual cycle impacts your scale weight more now that you're at a lower weight? For example, as I look back on my weight chart I can see that in the week leading up to my period, my weight would generally stall or I would see a 1-2 pound gain for a day or two. This month, I am up 4 pounds, and it's kind of a drag. I think I'll go induction for a few days. I suppose I could be suffering from carb creep, but I wondered if this is something others have experienced. Like your hormonal balance changes with your weight, and more water is retained for some reason, etc. Or maybe the monthly thing is a coincidence, and I've just reached a point where I need to reduce my caloric intake. Or maybe since I've never had a really serious stall, I'm just getting what I deserve! LOL!
Anyway, I am just looking for a little insight or some ideas from someone who's been there. Thanks for your input!

Wow, Stacie, that's a lot of weight you've lost! Congrats.

I have also had a tough time with gaining wait during my TOM. I average 5 lbs. I only have ten lbs. till goal and it's a vicious cycle for me. I suspect my cravings may be a hindrance as well. What to do, I don't know. For 2 weeks of every month I starve. I wish I knew what to do, maybe someone can help.

I remember reading in the Atkins book that women should not expect weight loss during their TOM during Induction - I'm sure that holds true for every phase after that too. I think it has to be pretty normal even to gain a pound or two in water around that time. I'm going to have to start paying attention now around that time.
