Nruiz,

Some people do find that eating too many nuts will cause a stall. I think, however, in moderation they don't cause a problem.
People react differently to all sorts of things; some people have to limit cheese, or coffee, while others can have all they want and never miss a beat. It's one of those things you just have to find out for yourself.
I would think that if you are eating almond flour, and are still losing, that you are fine.

HTH...

Like anything made from nuts, almond flour is very nutrient dense - and that means high in calories.

Though most people don't have to get crazy with calorie counting on low carb, common sense says that at some point you have gone over the line - and nuts can get you there pretty fast.

If you look at what a serving of almonds is, you'll see it really isn't that big. So if you're eating a product made with almond flour, and you are controlling your portions of it, they you'll most likely be fine.

If you find that it's too easy to over eat things made with nut flours ( whole nuts do take some work to eat, after all) then certainly the over indulging and the extra carbs and calories may be causing a stall.

As Trina says, it is a very individual thing!

I love almond flour myself, and use it often, but I do watch my portions on desserts made with it. Personally, I like it best for breading chicken cutlets!

(Trina can tell you all about that! )

I also like to make a hot cereal of half almond flour and half flax meal, with a little splenda, a dash of cream and maybe some SF maple syrup.

mmmmmm
