| Rude, weird name - yes. but - 12 helpings of roast beef? there is such a thing as going a little overboard..... Reminds me of the first time we took our children to Old Country Buffet. I think they both threw up when they got home. We should have watched them a little more. They just didn't know when to stop.

| Buffets still terrify me. Perhaps this is because of a steady succession of boarding school dining halls and university cafeterias. The last buffet I went to was an all-you-can eat Chinese food place...not a good night! Ugh. It's so hard to know when you've had enough when there are heaping piles of food in front you. I prefer sit-down, full service restaurants! HAHA, I do feel for this poor couple. How awful! |

| Remind me not to ever go there. If they treat people like that, then they don't deserve my buisness.

| hmmmm.. not sure i know how to respond here... if it didnt say all you care to eat.. i guess they have a point... but i dont think i have EVER seen a buffet where they limited your portions... it surely does sound like a case for a high priced lawyer to me....:-( i burned my hand on mcdonalds coffee years ago ... drove over a curb and took out a bus sign LONG before it was vogue to sue for a million bucks |

| I hate buffets!! I always have..... I am afraid of the germs, if I go to a restaurant I would like to be served, they usually are very noisy, and finally the food stinks!!!!! You eat so much because the food is unsatisfying......You never feel like ..............oooh gosh..this is delicious...so you just keep trying stuff...hoping to get that perfect bite......and it does not happen!!! And you go home feeling like an overstuffed pig! Sorry Rob if you are reading this...you heard my analogies on this matter before I think. But I won't tell those in public. Smiles....

| No problem Joanna, I don't do the buffet scene very often. But I wonder how big the slices were. 12 is a lot if they are 2 or 3 ounces. But very often they make the second helpings half the sizer of the first and then a bit smaller after that. Still too much beef but it might not be as bad as it sounds. I went to lunch at an all you can eat buffet yesterday and had 2 trips to the salad bar and a small salmon fillet and a chicken breast. There was a carving station with a roast beef and a Ham. I went up there three times but each time no one was manning the station. So that's when i settled on the chicken. |

| a comment about "all you can eat" I went to a few high price clasy resturants that had buffets that they bring your plates to you.. when the waiter stops don't bring you any more plates you have ate your moneys worth.. but the plates were nice sized and the food was great.. You can get as much as you want... and the waiter always says you will recive this # of plates if you would like more. 12 servings of roastbeef is disgusting, unless they were tiny slices how could someone eat that much meat... i have to agree w/ someone else when they said sounds like a doggy bag... someone was takeing home food or something why didnt they have some salad or something..obviously they hadnt halted their gorgeing them selfs at buffets.. If a place is or is not a "all you can eat" place they need to make it be known... I work in a resturant and we usta have "all you can eat" dinner speicals. We had someone take advantage of that and now its "seconds on us" w/ as much food as we give for our dinner speicals i rember what happend the day we changed that ... I man wife and 2 small children came to eat on a sunday (roastbeef dinner speical) the husband and wife orderd speical and orderd only fries for the children.. we sent the food out and no more than 10 min late we got an order for a refill 2 roastbeef refills... full meal so we give 1/2 portions of each thing out they went... when 5 min later the waitress came back to window and said... 2 more helpings of just roast beef. we were getting agervated, we are a small resturant so we became conserned on haveing enough just the same as that resturant.. so we sent them out.... when she came back to the window asking for more i said is this all for the same person when she said "yes" we said..... to stop the dinner speical that we ran out... (we hadnt but we would if they would have kept that up. #1 the waitress should have got in trouble beacuse she was alowing them to feed their children meat and other food from their plate.. #2 after we sent out the 3rd helping all they were eating was the meat from the plate... #3 after they left we looked at the table and their was enough food on all the plates to scrape togetehr and get 2 of our dinner speicals... that was just wrong.. from that day on we make it be known if its seconds or all oyu can eat... now only thing we have all you can eat is... fresh cut fries.

| I agree with Lez, sounds like a doggy bag! Or else that's just gluttony. Sorry if this offends anyone, but even if a place is "all you can eat," there's no reason to stuff yourself and leave nothing for other patrons, especially of items that are prepared in limited quantities. One time my parents went to a good Chinese buffet that features crab legs. A group of people there kept going back and getting more crab legs, so guess what? No one else got to have any.

| I'm just afraid this is going to be more 'bad' press for the Adkins plan. I'm at least hoping they were eating some veggies besides there, instead of just over-doing it on the meat. Of course, the press will only pick up the meat side of it and blow it out of proportion again.
